Welcome back to another update! Since my book has already been released, I want to give some fun facts that I shared on YouTube and Instagram leading to the release of Psyborg, as I didn’t ever share them here. I also am going to give some updates on some cool things that have happened and something coming up!
- Psyborg’s aliens will probably challenge your concept of what an alien can be. It’s not something I’ve seen any other Science Fiction story do at least.
- Psyborg was originally going to be a graphic novel! I thought this would be fitting due to the Sci-Fi nature of the book, alongside other aspects. I dropped this idea though since I wanted what I published to be my own words I wrote.
- Psyborg was originally going to be two novellas. The first would have consisted of the first twenty chapters of the book, with the second one having the rest of the chapters. This was dropped since it made more sense to have the book as one complete package.
- I originally came up with the idea for Psyborg via a synopsis shared with a friend five years ago. I’ve shared this before, but what I hadn’t shared was the fact that my friend also shared his own story idea, and I decided to reference it in my own book. Be on the lookout for that if you decide to pick it up.
- The book cover was originally going to have a few of the most major characters of the book (including Joei), back facing, standing and looking at a city in the distance, with the head of the book’s main antagonist being in the background. This was set the be the cover for years, though I was convinced to drop the idea, and I ended up coming up with one that ended up much better than that original idea.
Now for some cool updates. I was given the opportunity to share a vendor with Nita Lipan Fantasy Author at PumpkinFest 2025! I posted a video detailing that whole experience, as it was my first time doing an event like that, which you can watch here:
Another cool update is that I was also given the opportunity to be in a newspaper article discussing Psyborg! Here’s that:

That’s gonna do it for now! I’ll see you all next time.
